Fujitsu Refurbished Tape Drives

We occasionally stock refurbished tape drives for Fujitsu Eternus LT tape libraries and autoloaders, including the LT20 S2, LT40 S2, and LT140. Current availability is limited, so if you're looking for a specific LTO drive, library, or replacement part, our team can help source it through our supplier network.

Eternus LT libraries use LTO drives in SAS and Fibre Channel interfaces, in half-height or full-height form depending on the library model. If you need a replacement drive for an existing library or a specific LTO generation, contact our team with your library model and part number and we'll work to find the right match.

Every refurbished drive is inspected and tested before shipping under our ISO 9001-certified quality management system. Orders ship from our warehouse in Denmark — with express delivery, your order will be delivered within 1–2 working days.

Fujitsu tape drives carry A3C40 series part numbers, and matching the part number from your existing drive is the most reliable way to confirm a replacement for an Eternus LT library. Also check your cartridge generation. Up to LTO-7, drives read two generations back and write one generation back. From LTO-8 onward, drives read and write only one generation back. Search by part number in our Parts Finder, or contact our team directly.

Will a newer LTO drive read my existing tapes? It depends on the generation. Up to LTO-7, drives read cartridges two generations back. From LTO-8 onward, drives read and write only one generation back, so an LTO-9 drive can't read LTO-7 tapes.
