Intel Refurbished Processors
Upgrade or replace with refurbished Intel Xeon server CPUs, tested and ready to ship. Choose Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Bronze for Xeon Scalable servers, or earlier Xeon E5 generations for systems you’re keeping in service. Search by part number or filter by tier and core count to find your match.
Every processor is inspected and tested before shipping under our ISO 9001-certified quality management system. Orders ship from our warehouse in Denmark — with express delivery, your order will be delivered within 1–2 working days.

Refurbished Intel Xeon Platinum and Gold Processors
Xeon Platinum sits at the top of the Xeon Scalable lineup. It has the highest core counts, the largest cache, and the widest multi-socket support. It’s built as an enterprise data center CPU for dense virtualization, large in-memory databases, and compute-heavy nodes where every core counts.
Xeon Gold is the mid-range tier and a strong fit for virtualization and database servers. A refurbished Gold processor is often the most cost-effective way to add cores to an existing host without replacing the platform.
Refurbished Intel Xeon Silver and Bronze Processors
Xeon Silver suits dual-socket servers that need steady performance at a lower power draw, such as file, web, and application servers or smaller virtualization hosts. Xeon Bronze is the entry tier, with lower clock speeds, no Hyper-Threading, and little or no Turbo Boost. That keeps power and cost down for backup servers, storage nodes, and light workloads.
Both are a smart way to replace a failed Intel server processor or add capacity without paying for performance you won’t use.
Refurbished Intel Xeon E5 Processors for Older Servers
Plenty of servers built before the Scalable generation are still doing reliable work, and refurbished Xeon E5 processors keep them running. The version suffix tells you the platform: most v1 and v2 models use the LGA2011 socket, while v3 and v4 use LGA2011-3.
That’s why a v4 is a popular upgrade for v3 systems: more cores in the same server, usually after a BIOS update.
Matching a Refurbished Intel Processor to Your Server
Start with your server model or the part number on the processor you already have. Most listings show both the Intel model and the OEM part number your server vendor uses, so you can search either one.
Dual-socket servers need two identical processors, so order a matching pair if you’re filling the second socket. Higher-wattage models may also need a larger heatsink than the one your server shipped with. Not sure what fits? Use the Server Configurator or send us your server model, and we’ll confirm a compatible processor before you order.
FAQ
Are refurbished Intel Xeon processors as reliable as new ones?
Yes. A Xeon processor has no moving parts and is designed for 24/7 server duty, so a tested refurbished unit performs the same as a new one of the same model. Each one is checked before it ships and comes with a 1-year warranty.
How much does a refurbished Intel Xeon processor cost?
Price depends mainly on tier and generation. Older Xeon E5 models are the budget option, while recent Platinum and Gold processors sit at the top of the range. Whichever you choose, you can save up to 80% compared to buying new.
What’s the difference between refurbished and used Intel processors?
A used processor is usually sold as-is, straight from a decommissioned server. A refurbished one has been inspected and tested before resale and comes with a warranty, so you know it works before it goes into your rack.
Which Xeon tier do I need: Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Bronze?
Match the tier to the workload rather than buying the top model. Gold suits most virtualization and database servers, Platinum is for maximum core density, and Silver or Bronze cover lighter jobs like file serving and backup. If you’re adding a second CPU, it has to be the same model as the one already installed.
Will a refurbished Intel CPU work in my existing server?
Yes, as long as the socket, generation, and BIOS support match your server. Send us your server model or current CPU part number, and we’ll confirm compatibility before you order.
Can you source an Intel processor that isn’t listed?
Often, yes. Send us the model or part number, and we’ll check availability and lead time through our supplier network.
